Laura is a leadership and organizational development leader at JetBlue. She describes her team’s role in the organization as making the implicit explicit. Whether designing and delivering leadership programs, advising on organizational structure, or supporting adoption of change, raising awareness of what is just under the surface helps us make decisions that are more informed and intentional, and therefore reduce unintended consequences. Trying to embody and drive growth mindset and inclusive behaviors through any initiative is a natural synergy to building great leaders and organizations. Originally from the great PNW (Pacific Northwest), more than decade ago Laura “temporarily” transplanted to New York to study organizational psychology at Columbia University. Her prior experience ranges from memory research, training home healthcare aids, and working with schools and teachers in Peace Corps Honduras.
