This report explores the growing mental health challenges faced by DEI professionals amid heightened political tension and policy changes under the 2025 administration. Drawing from Seramount’s post-inauguration Employee Voice Sessions, it highlights how practitioners are coping through mindfulness, limiting media exposure, physical activity, social connection, and self-reflection. The findings emphasize the importance of prioritizing wellness and community support to prevent burnout and sustain meaningful advocacy work during periods of uncertainty and public scrutiny.
