On average, employees receive 26.6 total paid days off annually, including 12.2 company holidays and 1.7 floating holidays. Most companies (85%) provide PTO immediately upon hire, while 15% require a short waiting period. Additionally, 28% of surveyed companies now offer unlimited PTO, reflecting a growing shift toward flexible and trust-based time-off policies that support work-life balance and talent retention.
