This report examines the role and evolution of men’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in fostering allyship and inclusion within organizations. According to Seramount’s 2024 U.S. Inclusion Index, only 21% of companies currently have men’s ERGs—a decline from 29% in 2022. While traditionally ERGs support underrepresented groups, men’s ERGs can play a key role in advancing allyship, education, and accountability. These groups help men better understand diversity issues, challenge inequities, and engage meaningfully as advocates for gender and cultural inclusion. The report emphasizes that successful allyship requires proactive learning, intersectional awareness, and creating safe spaces for honest dialogue to strengthen workplace belonging for all.
