On March 26, 2026, President Trump issued the executive order “Addressing DEI Discrimination By Federal Contractors.” The order aims to eliminate what the order refers to as “racially discriminatory DEI activities” among companies that receive federal contracts and to reinforce a “merit-based” contracting and employment system.
