The C-suites and boardrooms of Fortune 500 companies are overwhelmingly white and male; what is less clear is the makeup of the 28 million employees who work for them. Only 3% of Fortune 500 companies release complete data for the race and gender of their employees in each job category and management level; 75% of those few companies are in the tech space. This report examines the current state of Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies commitment to diversity and inclusion.
