Sam Stalion is the Senior Associate on the Insight Analytics team at Seramount, conducting back-end data analyses in support of Seramount’s many DEI initiatives and indexes while formulating insights to help advance organizational DEI efforts around the world. She is an analytical, detail-oriented communications expert with over a decade of professional experience in the education, IT, and business sectors in both Europe and the United States.

Before joining Seramount, Sam was the Associate Director of Marketing at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where she spent several years growing and cultivating the premier business school’s marketing strategy for its number-one ranked online graduate programs.

Sam is a self-professed lifelong learner, deeply passionate about helping organizations and individuals attain their goals through meticulous data gathering and collaborative strategic planning. Throughout her career, Sam has authored, edited, and translated a wide variety of papers, articles, and communications materials and has enjoyed conducting several graduate-level research projects in the realm of diversity and leadership issues at work.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Spanish from the University of Chester in the United Kingdom and a Master of Science in Technology with a concentration in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University, as well as several postgraduate certificates in human resources, marketing, and translation. She is a professional affiliate member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and serves as a volunteer on its Engagement and Communications for Practitioners committee.

Based in Bloomington, Indiana, Sam enjoys hiking, kayaking, and playing in the great outdoors with her husband and three daughters during her spare time—but you may also find her curled up on the couch with a good book and a glass of wine by the fire (once the kids are asleep)!
