Sathya Bala (she/her) is a leader, board member, entrepreneur, speaker and community organizer. She spent most of her career working at large organizations like Sainsburys, Deloitte, HSBC and Barclays. Before starting her business, her last role was Global Head of Data at Chanel, during which time she also launched the cross-company Data Meets DEI forum, which she still runs today. In 2021, she launched her own business, True Change, which works to make organizations more inclusive using data and storytelling to drive change. Sathya is also founder of My Skin My Story, a global community that empowers women of color. Sathya embraces her cross-cultural lived experience in her work, as a Sri Lankan Tamil woman, born in Singapore, who grew up in Sydney, and moved to London as a young adult.

Isabelle Demangeat is a seasoned DEI expert with 25 years of experience in coaching, training, and leadership development. Based in Berlin, she works in four languages across Europe, India, and virtually with global clients, focusing on interculturality and diversity, gender dynamics, and multi-site teams. She holds certifications in multiple psychometric tools, mediation, and organization development, and collaborates with universities and training institutes to develop future leaders and trainers.

Miranda Johnston is a Relationship Manager on the Relationship Expansion Team at Seramount. She is responsible for service delivery of member benefits, partner engagement, and success plan development. Miranda joins us from EAB where she supported universities in their student success & equity efforts. Prior to that, Miranda worked in ABA therapy, providing services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Miranda earned her BS in Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Dr. Shanita Williams, is the Vice President of People Experience & Inclusion at Southern New Hampshire University. With over 16 years of progressive experience in higher education administration, Dr. Williams has dedicated her career to transforming workplaces by designing employee centric programs that help attract, develop and retain world class talent.
Among her notable responsibilities: oversees 39 employee networks and employee resource groups, leads employee recognition programs, manages the first-year onboarding experience, analyzes monthly engagement surveys, and directs the impactful “Standing Together for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion” program—all essential drivers of employee engagement, organizational health and employee retention.
Dr. Williams empowers others to thrive by creating environments where they can embrace their most authentic selves in the workplace. In recognition of her leadership, Dr. Williams was named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Georgia and in Education by Women We Admire in 2023, and the recipient of the Diversity Impact 50 Award in 2025

Sam Lalanne is a Managing Director and Chief Diversity Officer at Morgan Stanley. As Chief Diversity Officer, Sam works with leaders across the Firm on innovative strategies for attracting, advancing, and retaining top diverse talent. In addition, Sam is the Head of Strategy for the Institute for Inclusion, leading the critical work of the Institute in supporting internal diversity and inclusion (D&I) efforts, driving equity in education and careers, and investing in diverse communities and businesses.
Prior to his current role, Sam was the Head of D&I for the Institutional Securities Group (ISG), Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM), and International. In this role, Sam served as a strategic partner and trusted advisor across institutional businesses, and integrated regional initiatives across the global footprint to deliver to our colleagues, our communities, and our clients.
Sam joined Morgan Stanley in 2019 from Citi where he had a distinguished career spanning 19 years. During his tenure, Sam held leadership positions in the Talent & Diversity, Institutional Client, and Private Banking organizations.
Sam holds his B.S. in Finance from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. He lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and two daughters.
