O’Neale Atkinson IV

O’Neale, a native of South Carolina, moved to Charlotte in June of 2011. Since moving to Charlotte, he worked with The LGBT Community Center of Charlotte and Q-Notes before joining Time Out Youth Center in 2013. O’Neale received his Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina.

O’Neale has worked exclusively with LGBTQ communities, with an emphasis on youth, since 2011. He is currently working on his clinical licensure and is passionate about developing queer-centered social work practices to effectively serve members of the LGBTQ community, as well as training and educating other systems to be more competent when working with LGBTQ people.
