In her role as Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for Asurion, Melinda Hudgins Noblitt develops internal and external programs to drive diversity and inclusion through recruiting partnerships, employee resources groups (ERGs), and educational programs.

Melinda led efforts in 2020 to create a state-certified Software Engineer Apprenticeship for Asurion employees – the first of its kind in Tennessee – that went on to win Nashville Technology Council’s 2021 Diversity Initiative of the Year Award. Additionally, Melinda was named a 2020 Nashville Emerging Leaders Award (NELA) recipient by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and YP Nashville.

In 2019, Melinda co-launched Lipstick Economy Podcast to explore all aspects of marketing to women. She was a 2019 ATHENA Young Professional nominee and recipient of Asurion’s 2019 Diversity & Inclusion commUnity Leadership Award. Melinda serves on Asurion’s Compassion Forward Community Giving Committee, FUTURO Executive Board, Nashville Public Television’s Board of Directors, and Advancing Women in Nashville (AWIN) development committee, and is a member of Together in Digital and Nashville Cable.
