Micron Technology will share success strategies from their 13,000+-member disability ERG Capable, who partnered with their global facilities team for manufacturing sites to make them more accessible. Some of the adjustments included the following:
– Improving the accessibility of a ramp at their headquarters beyond ADA compliance
– Installing automatic doors to entryways and restrooms
– Adding quiet rooms for employees with sensory issues
– Lowering equipment like sinks or coat racks so that people with mobility devices like wheelchairs can better access them
– Creating top-down smock uniforms that make it easier to get dressed

VSP Vision Care
VSP Vision Care will share success strategies from their Abilities Beyond Limited Expectations (ABLE) BRG. In collaboration with business partners, the BRG developed low bridge frames and targeted campaign messaging for vision care members, including those with disabilities like Down syndrome. Their enterprise frame company Marchon had already developed low bridge frames for adults, and they worked with their online retailer Eyeconic to create a “Special Fit” page on its website.
From July 2023 to June 2024, the Special Fit page attracted 7,409 unique visitors and 9,108 pageviews, generating $160,000 in revenue. The initial campaign led to a DE&I inclusion strategy for member campaigns, including representation of people with Down Syndrome in Eyeconic campaigns. This will be featured in Q4 2024 on Eyeconic social media, blogs, and VSP website and their internal news feed.
Imagery promoting inclusion was added to the VSP’s global enterprise library for broader campaign use across other Lines of Business. They are also developing a plan to measure revenue from low bridge eyewear, setting a model for future campaigns and product development. A new cross-collaborative BRG team was established for future product development and campaigns.
