Celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month with us! Join us for a program that will be equal parts inspiration and practical tips and tools to empower individuals, ERGs, and communities to do their best work.

This program will feature stories that amplify and uplift the efforts of individuals and employee resource groups working to support people with disabilities both at their organizations and in the communities in which they serve.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a live Q&A session with the speakers to gain the insights they need to further their own work.

Who Should Attend

    • Employee Resource Group Leaders and Members

    • D&I Practitioners and Champions

    • HR and Talent Leaders

    • Business leaders committed to advancing people with disabilities

Participants Will Hear

After Erin Brown had a leg amputated following a cancer diagnosis, she has since become a Paralympic triathlon athlete and disability advocate. Her work includes consulting on healthcare and employment for people with disabilities, being the sole person managing disability compliance at the University of The Bahamas, and presenting to the United Nations, World Health Organization and Pan American Health Organization as International Disability Inclusion Consultant for the Caribbean. She will share both her powerful personal story as well as key strategies of success from her extensive disability advocacy work.

Disability:IN’s Director of their Global Disability Equality Index will share insights from their global benchmarking tool which helps companies build a roadmap of measurable, tangible actions towards disability inclusion and equality.

Sephora will share strategies of success from their All Abilities Hiring Initiative, a nine-week paid program leveraging local advocacy groups and educational institutions to train and recruit people with disabilities. Since launching in 2017, the program has provided jobs to 246 disabled candidates.
