Join us for our inaugural Arab American Heritage Month webinar! Arab American Heritage Month was formally launched as a national movement in 2017, designated to honor and uplift the remarkable culture, leadership, and contributions of Arab American communities. Though still emerging, it continues to gain momentum each year.

Did you know:

  • Arab – People who identify as being from one of the 22 Arab League nations who share a common language, history, and culture. Arabs are also one of many ethnicities that practice Islam, but not all Arabs are Muslim; 7 percent adhere to other religions (i.e., approximately 5 percent of Arabs are Christian; approximately 63 percent of US Arabs are Christian, 24 percent Muslim, and 13 percent have no religious affiliation).
  • Today, an estimated 3.7 Arab Americans live throughout the US, with nearly three-quarters residing in 12 states: California, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and Virginia.
