Cameron Day, Senior Manager Diversity Strategy, Experience, and Hiring, Verizon
Cameron Day leads Verizon’s diversity recruitment strategy. He is responsible for embedding DE&I best practices throughout all of Talent Acquisition. In his role, Cameron champions initiatives to increase diverse representation within Verizon by partnering with internal & external stakeholders to identify community outreach recruitment opportunities.
Cameron has a over 12 years of Human Resources experience. He started his professional career as a Workers Compensation Adjuster and leveraged that experience to transition into an HR Coordinator position. He led Jersey City’s Leave Management Department and negotiated their first HRIS system, which redefined their HR Operating Model. Realizing his interest in business strategy, Cameron made the decision to grow his career as a strategic HR Business Partner. At Verizon, Cameron has had the opportunity to serve in a number of HR roles focused on attracting, developing and retaining talent. He is passionate about creating opportunities to enhance representation, supporting an inclusive workforce, and fostering a culture of ongoing development.
Heidi Evita Moore, Senior Director, Diversity, and Inclusion, Horizon Therapeutics
Heidi Evita Moore is the senior director of diversity and inclusion at Horizon Therapeutics, a global biotech organization. Heidi has over twenty-years of experience as a diversity, equity, inclusion, allyship and belonging practitioner leader who develops, drives, and delivers diversity and inclusion strategies through business solutions, communications, community engagement, human resources, leadership development, marketing, operations, organizational development, and sales.
Jeffrey Moss, Founder and CEO of Parker-Dewey
Jeffrey will share the story of the creation of his micro internship program. He will illustrate how this program has been integral for companies who are seeking ways to support current staff and ERG Leadership. He will also share how it gives diverse students a chance to connect with companies that they have historically not been able to.
Cheyenne Boyce, Senior Program Manager for Student Programs, HubSpot
Cheyenne Boyce is an education advocate and program manager focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Currently, she serves as the Senior Program Manager for Student Programs with the Education Partner Program at HubSpot. In this role, Cheyenne supports professors and students at HBCUs, Community Colleges, and other Minority Serving Institutions in developing the skills needed to successfully enter the workforce. Prior to joining HubSpot, Cheyenne served as the Director of Program Development at the Confucius Institute U.S. Center (CIUS Center) where she developed programming to foster mutual understanding between the US and China. Cheyenne is passionate about cross-cultural exchange, global education, workforce development, and addressing the systemic causes of information inequity in our communities. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Cheyenne received her Master’s degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University’s School of International Service in 2017 and her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Spelman College in 2014.
Colleen O’Neill Groves, Senior Account Manager, Franklin Apprenticeships
Colleen is a experienced sales professional who spent many years in advertising working for The Wall Street Journal, CNBC.com and NBC. Prior to joining Franklin, she worked with Chief Diversity Officers and Chief HR Officers to provide eLearning on a variety of topics including Unconscious Bias, How to Be an Upstander in the Face of Racism and Transgender Inclusion.
Cable Rose, Professional Success Coach , Franklin Apprenticeships
Cable is a 21-year retired USAF veteran. Having spent most of his career in the IT realm, he found his calling during his final years as a Professional Military Educator. That led him into his passion for helping others in the areas of professional development, personal growth, and career progression.
As a Professional Success Coach here at Franklin Apprenticeships, his goal is to provide IT industries with well-rounded, “above the curve” technicians. With a focus on training, educating, and coaching his apprentices with not only the most current IT standards, but also the skills, knowledge and behaviors to support practical and professional development.
His Success Coaching skills involve complex communication techniques to actively listen, provide feedback and to engage apprentices in planning their individualized learning program. These skills are also integral to assessing and confirming the apprentices’ competence in relation to work-related/industry standards and life skills.
Alecia Smith, Director, Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Otis Elevator
Alecia Smith joined Otis Elevator in 2015 and currently serves as the Global Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I). In this role, she leads and directs the development and implementation of policies and practices to foster and drive a culture of inclusion, helping the organization deliver on its people aspiration and commitment to change. She provides partnership, collaboration, and counsel to multiple areas of the organization, including the Executive Leadership team, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and the broader HR community, to increase awareness, drive new ways of thinking and advance the understanding and impact of diversity, equity and inclusion strategies. Before this role, Alecia worked in various functions within HR across Otis Elevator and Whirlpool Corporation in HR Operations, Manufacturing, and corporate functions as a HR Business Partner, Compensation and Talent Acquisition. Her track record of delivering customer expectations, managing with passion and energy, and influencing others in a diverse and dynamic work environment are paramount to who she is as a leader. Outside Otis, Alecia serves in a leadership role with her church, hosts a podcast centered around women reaching their full potential in all areas of their life and she is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Alecia graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management and a Master’s in Business Administration, and was a recipient of the 2022 Women on the Rise Award by Paradigm for Parity for helping to change the face of corporate leadership breaking down barriers to help achieve true equality and full representation in corporate offices and the 2020 Otis CEO Award for driving initiatives and modeling Otis Culture behaviors to a create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive environment.
Kili Hinton, Sr Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Otis Elevator
Kili Hinton is the Senior Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and is responsible for the creation and execution of strategies and programs that foster a culture of inclusion, increase diverse representation, develop and showcase diverse talent while positioning Otis as an employer of choice.
Kili joined Otis in 2017 and brings over many years of experience within Human Resources with a particular emphasis in global strategy, diversity recruitment, change management, employee resource groups and employee engagement. Prior to Otis, Kili was a HR Business Partner for PepsiCo, Frito Lay and GE Healthcare.

Cole Sulak, Junior Developer, TEK Systems
Cole Sulak is a junior developer with experience utilizing critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and psychology to design and implement creative solutions. Driven by the pursuit of knowledge, they take pride in providing a unique insight into designing full stack solutions for web development. Previously, they worked in the public health sector as a medical coder while pursuing a degree in philosophy and psychology. Recently, they pivoted into the technology sector by completing the TEK systems bootcamp in May of 2022. Now, as a junior developer their goals include being vocal about potential solutions while being an adaptive team player. In addition to their primary job functions, Cole strongly values going the extra mile to welcome and guide new team members.
Patricia Diaz, Government consultant for Ernst & Young
Patricia Diaz Galliano is driven by the unanswered questions of the world, she tries to pursue a path where challenges push her into new horizons. Born and raised in Puerto Rico after almost two decades she moved to DC to pursue her studies at The George Washington University. She now works as a government consultant for Ernst & Young. Outside of work she likes to cycle around DC and learn new languages.

Innovative and forward thinking Electrical & Computer Engineering senior with a concentration in computer Engineering, leveraging a knack for process automation and optimization and divergent thinking. I am open to full time and part time software and Engineering roles, as well as new opportunities to grow as an engineer and as an individual.
Francesca Edralin, Private Sector Engagement Coordination, World Wildlife Fund
Francesca Edralin is a recent graduate from The George Washington University, where she majored in International Affairs with a concentration in International Environmental Studies and minored in Sustainability and Journalism. Francesca is passionate about engaging different industries, actors, and sectors to take environmental action on a global scale. She is a proud first-generation Filipino American, as her home country has inspired her love for nature and passion for climate justice. In college, Francesca interned for various organizations such as Council on Foreign Relations, USAID, and State Department, as well as studied sustainability abroad in Copenhagen for a semester.
Currently, Francesca works at WWF on the Private Sector Engagement Team, where she supports cause marketing campaigns that engage the public on environmental conservation and sustainable living. Prior to her current role, Francesca was an intern for WWF’s Media and External Affairs team under the BRIDGE (Building Relationships, Inclusivity, Diversity, Growth, and Excellence) internship program.

Corey currently serves as the Senior Manager of events at Seramount, part of EAB. In this role, he is responsible for programming events for the Conference and Events Team. During his time at Seramount, he has worked with hundreds of corporate leaders, uplifting diversity, equity and inclusion best practices in the corporate sector and engages national thought leaders in DEI. Prior to joining Seramount, he served as the Partnership Manager for Feedback Labs, which is a non-profit providing technical assistance for domestic and international organizations focused on outreach, engagement and feedback. Corey has years of experience working in the non-profit, academic and government sector with a passion for the outreach and engagement, advancing equity and strengthening community institutions. Corey P. Holland graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. Following his undergraduate studies, he completed his Masters in Public Administration from Kennesaw State University. Corey is a proud Baltimore native who currently resides in Northeast Baltimore.
