HREB Member Event

Fall HR Partner Roundtable

Date & Time
November 9–10, 2026
Location
In-Person | New York, NY

Event Information

Most companies aren’t falling behind because they missed the AI shift. They’re falling behind because their HR operating systems were never built for speed. The Future-Ready CHRO is a one-day, invitation-only roundtable that brings CHROs together to pressure-test that problem directly. Where is HR structurally slowing strategy? Which systems have become liabilities? And how far, and how fast, does HR have to move to stay a competitive accelerant instead of a bottleneck?

Participants will diagnose the legacy systems holding their organizations back, run simulations of three future workplaces built from trends and challenges already in motion, and work backward from bold scenarios to figure out what would have to be true for them to happen. Peers do the thinking together, aided by artifacts and provocations designed to force productive debate rather than comfortable consensus. CHROs leave with a sharper read on where their HR operating model is costing them speed, and a concrete sense of what to redesign first.

CHROs, CPOs & CTOs

Participants Will Hear

  • Where HR is quietly slowing corporate strategy, and how to spot the operating-system constraints most leaders miss.
  • Which legacy HR systems have shifted from asset to liability as the pace of change accelerates.
  • What the agility imperative actually demands: continuously redesigning work, redeploying talent, developing leaders, and holding workforce trust while disruption never stops.
  • How competitive forces are reshaping the requirements around skills and leadership, and what that means for how HR is built.
  • How to reason future scenarios backward, asking what would need to happen for a bold outcome to be real, instead of why it can’t.
