María Cuevas is a Senior Manager for Seramount’s Chief Diversity Officer Collaborative  (CDOC), where she designs and delivers executive learning experiences and strategic programming for chief inclusion officers and senior leaders. She specializes in translating research into engaging, practice-oriented experiences that equip senior leaders to strengthen their influence, lead organizational change, and build high-performing workplace cultures.

With more than eight years of experience in employee engagement, organizational culture, and leadership development, María brings a collaborative and human-centered approach to program design. She works closely with researchers, executives, and cross-functional partners to deliver convenings that foster meaningful dialogue, practical learning, and lasting professional connections.

Prior to joining Seramount, María led employee engagement and organizational culture initiatives in the nonprofit sector, where she helped advance workplace well-being, psychological safety, and belonging through strategic programming and cross-functional partnerships.

María received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego.

is Director of the North America CapEx Buying Team at Cargill, where she leads procurement strategy, capital project sourcing, and category management for major capital investments across the region. With more than 15 years of experience in strategic sourcing, capital execution, supplier relationship management, and organizational transformation, she has led teams supporting billion-dollar capital portfolios and delivering significant value through category strategies, process improvement, and operational excellence.

Ilka is passionate about building high-performing teams, advancing supplier diversity, and creating sustainable business impact through collaborative leadership and data-driven decision making. Her leadership philosophy is simple: diversity is strength. She believes the best solutions emerge when people with different experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds come together to challenge conventional thinking, foster innovation, and achieve exceptional results.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Northwestern Ohio and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified professional.

For over 19 years, Andrés González, M.Ed., CCDP/AP, has successfully created robust belonging, community engagement, health impact, language services and supplier development programs for respected health care organizations including Cleveland Clinic Health System, Baystate Health in Massachusetts, and Froedtert ThedaCare Health in Wisconsin, where he currently serves as vice president, chief belonging and community engagement officer. There, his teams have penetrated diverse markets and made a substantial impact on the communities they serve, ensuring patients receive culturally and linguistically competent care that can lead to better health outcomes, while developing successful belonging, recruitment, development and retention efforts.

González holds both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Cleveland State University, as well as certificates from Cornell University’s Industrial and Labor Relations Department. He is a member of the faculty at Elevate and serves on national boards including American Hospital Association Institute for Diversity and Health Equity’s Equity of Care Committee. He is a member of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives and serves on numerous local boards.

Luciani De Souza, is a Talent Acquisition Marketing Consultant at Cargill with more than a decade of human resources, recruitment, and employer branding experience across the United States and Brazil. She holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources and Change Leadership from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Throughout her career, Luciani has led initiatives that strengthen talent attraction, candidate engagement, and employee experience while partnering with business leaders to build inclusive workplaces. She is a passionate advocate for belonging and cultural connection and has been actively involved with Cargill’s Hispanic and Latino Council (CHLC) Business Resource Group for over five years, serving in multiple leadership capacities. Her work focuses on creating opportunities that help diverse talent and communities thrive.

Carlos Butler-Vale is Director of Advisory at Seramount, bringing more than 15 years of HR leadership experience across talent, culture, inclusion, and workforce transformation. He partners with organizations to translate people strategy into practical solutions that strengthen organizational effectiveness and drive business results.

His experience spans advisory, higher education, technology, government, and retail, with a track record of shaping enterprise people strategies and leading initiatives across complex, global organizations.

Carlos holds an MBA from Roosevelt University, a BA from George Washington University, and the SHRM-SCP certification. His north star is to lift people up, drive purpose, and deliver results that move the business forward.
