Heather Heckler

Heather Heckler is the Subject Matter Expert in Industrial Engineering with over 27 years of experience.  She leads a global team to define the computer application needs for Industrial Engineering.  She has a BSIE from University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a MSES from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

During her career, she has held various assignments in engineering and manufacturing, including working at one of General Motors full-size truck plants.  Later, Heather worked developing processes and tooling for our global facilities to document and balance labor.  She has worked to improve the processes and provide better connections between systems.

Heather is a member of the Brothertown Indian Nation of Wisconsin and a leader of the General Motors Indigenous Peoples Network, is a Sequoyah member of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society and part of the AISES Corporate Advisory Council.  She has a passion for ensuring Indigenous People are represented.
