Cat Frenzel (she/they) is a Senior QA Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM), where they focus on building robust, automated testing frameworks that ensure security and seamless user experiences. Beyond their technical expertise in optimizing CI/CD pipelines and driving automation coverage, Cat is a passionate advocate for workplace equity. As a leader within their company’s LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group, they bridge data and empathy—developing metrics to track the success of diversity initiatives while fostering an environment where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work. They are thrilled to bring their unique perspective on leadership, technical excellence, and community-building to today’s webinar.

Mija Lieberman (she/her) is an Associate Director of Advisory at Seramount, bringing extensive experience in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), talent acquisition, and DEI strategy.

Mija began her career in the tech and gaming industries, starting as a recruiting specialist at Niantic, where she improved recruiting operations and enhanced the candidate experience. She was also a founding member of the company’s first ERG and DEI council, helping to cultivate a culture of belonging. She later transitioned into a full-time DEI role at Unity as an ERG program manager, launching new ERGs and implementing scalable structures to support global growth. With a strong background in talent acquisition and ERGs, Mija understands the critical connection between recruitment and retention in building effective DEI strategies, and believes in meeting individuals where they are on their DEI journey. Mija holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Spanish and Chinese from Vassar College and is a SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). A Bay Area native, she currently lives in San Francisco with her partner. She loves traveling and hopes to visit every continent and wonder of the world someday.

Cornell Pineda is a Director of Product at The Estée Lauder Companies, where he leads Search & Discovery experiences across a global portfolio of direct-to-consumer Brands Ecommerce sites. With 15+ years of experience in product management, Cornell specializes in ecommerce innovation, AI-powered customer experiences, and digital transformation at scale.

In addition to his professional role, Cornell serves as a Co-Chair of The Estée Lauder Companies’ wELCome Employee Resource Group, where he helps lead global programming, community engagement, and initiatives that foster LGBTQIA+ visibility, inclusion, and belonging across the organization. Passionate about storytelling, mentorship, and authentic leadership, he brings both a technology and human-centered perspective to conversations around workplace culture and equity.

Today, she is a national advocate, organizer, writer and artist working towards liberation for transgender and nonbinary communities, with a particular focus on trans women of color
and trans sex workers. She is the Trans Justice Campaign Manager at the ACLU and is paving the way for the transgender and LGBT communities to not be marginalized and have the right to live a safe, loving and fulfilling life. She is also working with the stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race, helping them use their voice and platform to raise awareness and defend drag, as well as fight against horrible anti-trans bills and upcoming threats.
Before her work at the ACLU, LaLa had years of experience working in organizing and advocacy spaces, including the New York City Anti-Violence Project (AVP) where she served as
a Lead Organizer doing advocacy, outreach and networking on behalf of LGBTQ New Yorkers who have experienced violence. She has also organized and held a vigil for national and local trans community members. LaLa helped found and fight for funding for the organization’s first One Gateway Center,  Trans and Non-binary Leadership Academy to teach New Yorkers how to fight for change and be advocates in their community while helping build AVP work.
