AI and Inclusion: How to Protect People and Performance

Diana Forster is a Senior Director of Research at Seramount. She is a survey researcher, statistician, and writer with experience delivering actionable research to government, corporate, and academic clients.

Diana directs content development for Seramount’s Federal Policy, Strategy, and Crisis Communication Resource Center and has also led major research projects on Gen Z, attitudes towards DEI, mental health and well-being, and AI. She joined Seramount in 2022 as an Associate Director on the Consulting team.

Previously, Diana was a researcher with the American Institutes for Research (AIR). There, she worked with the Department of Education on projects related to K-12 education. Diana was also a founder and vice-chair of Women in Support of Equity (WISE), AIR’s first employee resource group for women.

Prior to her time at AIR, Diana worked for eight years with the Center for Talent Innovation (now Coqual).

Diana holds a BA in political science and history from the College of Charleston, an MA in political science from the University of Arizona, a PhD in political science from the University of Florida, and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. She lives in Bethesda, Maryland, where she enjoys reading and writing fiction, riding her Peloton, going to the movies, and volunteering as a dramaturg with local theatres.

Eva is an Associate Director of Partner Development, responsible for helping new partner organizations unlock the value of Seramount’s DEI research and apply it to drive success within their organizations. She brings extensive experience in ERG leadership, DEI curriculum development and facilitation, and team culture building within large, matrixed organizations.

Before joining Seramount, Eva worked with pharmaceutical and medical device companies to address strategic issues such as health equity, AI in healthcare, leadership adaptiveness, and policy implications. She supported this work through consultative relationships and data-driven research.

Outside of work, Eva enjoys traveling—most recently exploring the beauty and traditions of Sri Lanka. She is also an avid supporter of the NY film scene, actively involved in Brooklyn’s cat fostering community, and the proud caretaker of her (too) many plants.

Todd Baker (he/him) is an Associate Director on the Advisory team at Seramount, where he partners with organizations to translate culture and inclusion strategy into practical, business-aligned action. As an inclusion strategist, he brings a dual perspective—both advising leaders at the enterprise level and building programs from the inside—that helps organizations move from intention to sustainable impact.

Todd has led and scaled global employee resource group (ERG) ecosystems, leadership development experiences, and data-informed talent initiatives that strengthen engagement, retention, and representation. His cross-sector background spanning nonprofit, education, and corporate environments informs his thoughtful, people-centered approach to culture change.

Todd holds a B.A. in Education Studies from Morehouse College and an M.S. in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University. Based in Atlanta, he enjoys storytelling, continuous learning, and exploring creative projects outside of work.
