Margot Slattery is the Global Group Head of Social Sustainability at ISS World Services, headquartered in Denmark. She leads the company’s efforts to become a global leader in social sustainability, implementing and aligning social initiatives that fall under the ESG agenda and beyond, applying social impact to employees and a wider society.
She also promotes diversity and inclusion across cultures, ethnicities, abilities, gender, sexual orientation/LGBTQ+, and generations. Margot is dedicated to promoting social and climate justice, both within ISS and through her roles on various boards and NGOs. She is proud to represent ISS World Services in ‘The Valuable 500’ movement, advocating for disability inclusion on board agendas.

Margot began her career as a chef before transitioning into management, eventually becoming CEO in 2012 and Country President in 2015 of Sodexo Ireland. Her experience in evolving workplace standards led her to the role of Global Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer with Sodexo Group, where she co-founded and signed Ireland’s first Diversity Charter.
Margot joined ISS World Services in May 2021. She served as the Global Head of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging until 2024, when she transitioned into the role of Global Head of Social Sustainability, expanding her scope of responsibilities and influence.
Margot lives with her wife Sarah in Dublin and Leitrim, Ireland. In her leisure time, she enjoys dining out, meeting friends, watching rugby, learning golf, walking, reading, and engaging with her local community.
