Samantha Powell

Samantha “Sammi” Powell (she/they) is an Associate on Seramount’s Advisory team. In her role, she supports the generation of insights and tools that help partners better support their employee resource groups and workforce talent. Additionally, they support the development and execution of Seramount’s ERG Impact Awards.

Sammi is driven by a long-standing passion for social justice, equity, and inclusion across different sectors. They have served as an organizer and panelist for youth advocacy & education, an inaugural D&I intern at a technology organization, and the first DEI fellow at a globally-focused nonprofit, where they developed inclusion-related programming for Fortune 500 companies, NGOs, and academia.

Sammi holds a BA in Sociology with a minor in Afro-American Studies from Howard University (H-U!). She is based in Washington, D.C., and is originally from New Jersey. Sammi enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and playing video games in their free time.
