ERG Prioritization Tool
Too often, ERG planning becomes a list of good ideas rather than a disciplined decision-making process. Teams say yes to too many initiatives, stretch their leaders too thin, and end up delivering activity without enough strategic impact. The result is familiar: burnout, diluted focus, inconsistent execution, and frustration about whether the work is truly moving the organization forward. The strongest ERGs are not the ones doing the most. They are the ones making the clearest choices.
That is why we created the ERG Prioritization Tool: a practical resource to help ERG leaders and Inclusion leaders evaluate potential initiatives with more objectivity, consistency, and strategic discipline.
Most ERGs are not suffering from a lack of ideas. They are suffering from a lack of decision filters. At any given moment, an ERG may be considering leadership development programming, community-building events, recruiting partnerships, awareness campaigns, heritage month activations, mentoring circles, external partnerships, policy recommendations, wellbeing efforts, and business-facing initiatives. Many of these ideas are worthwhile, but not all of them are right for right now.
